prepare like a champion...
While school’s out, prepare for Junior Olympics (~now a month earlier~) and get ready to bring your best game to the second half of the fencing season.

camp focus
Selecting your tactics, creating your setup, and changing based on new information are skills every bit as important as advance-lunges and feint-disengages. So is managing expectations and anxiety; the best mindset makes each competition rep a new opportunity!
We’ll explore:
- Mindset Manipulation: Can you hack your brain to get the most out of every moment?
- Predictions, Plans, and Preparations: Can you win the touch before the referee says “fence?” Are there setups to solve multiple problems, stacking the deck even if you guess wrong?
- Resilience 101: How do we respond when things go wrong?
We’ll explore all these ideas, and set up a ton of situational bouting to simulate pressure in common situations.
